We called the Royal Palm. We got the hotel room rate down to $219/night (Single only). Those that booked the hotel need to call the Royal Palm to change the rate (Tel: +1 305 604 5700 / Fax:+1 786 276 0178).

We heard from a few of you that the room rate at the Royal Palm was too high. When we negotiated the hotel room rates (March 2008) we were unable to lower the room rate. Once the economic crisis started last month, things changed, and we were able to change their minds.

The Royal Palm hotel is on the beach, and adjacent to the National Hotel, the Fountainbleu and a host of others at much higher rates. For some in attendance, money is not an object. Simply put, they want a high end hotel. While this represented the majority of attendees in the past, current times changed your needs. We are responding to it for you.

We are also working with the Marriott for some of you on a tight budget for rooms at an even lesser rate. (The Marriott hotel is not on the beach).

In addition as of today (December 16), most airlines have significantly reduced fares.

We are seeing this for airfare to Miami as well.

We suggest you use Side Step to compare flight prices. You will see a significant drop from previous weeks.
