In 2006 at the Beijing Internet Dating Conference, executives in the industry estimated size of the Asian Online Dating Market was between USD $50 to $250 million.

ALL perceived a growth in the market and currently this is the tip of an iceberg. China was also expected over time to DOMINATE the space. Companies that are in the business now are basically repeating the history of the internet in the USA around 1996. Those that are in early will win big.

Once again, most North American based firms showed little to no interest in foreign dating and social networking markets. My personal observation: it will be your loss to bottom line growth, and a huge one at that.

Of course! There's a whole market to be had, and ironically china has a shortage of women, so that always means plenty of lonely guys ready to shell cash for dating. Very Happy
